1/2 not only introduces this show to be one of a two part series but it also suggests a simultaneous presence and absence that is evidenced in the work of participating artists Des Cullen, Olivia Devlin, Leigha Dugdale, David Fox, Aidan Kelleher, Stephen Madden, Ryan Moffett and Jennifer McCauley whose work focuses on subjects such as politics of domestic space, culture, architecture, and the mirroring of spaces.

Through the use of sound based media, sculpture, video, painting and the installation, 1/2 presents a space that is neither one nor the Other but a co-existence between the two.
